Teen Science Cafe for ME! session to focus on zombies

DEXTER — The zombie horde is coming to Dexter. The Teen Science Cafe for ME! program is excited to announce that its fifth cafe will be about zombies.

On Thursday, Oct. 30, Jamie Wren, a recent University of Maine anthropology graduate, will lead a discussion about the truth and fiction behind zombies. As with all Teen Science Cafes, there will be free food (zombie themed of course), a presentation and an activity. All ages welcome, but please remember that this talk is geared for teens, and zombies might be scary for young children. Come in your best zombie attire.
The cafe will be at the Millworks (across the street from Bud’s Shop and Save) from 6 to 8 p.m. For more information contact asaunders@mmsa.org or visit on Facebook at The STEM Guides Project — DDG. This work is supported by a National Science Foundation grant.
