GreenLife opens in Milo

Grand opening/ribbon cutting on Thursday

MILO — On April 13 GreenLife, a new recreational cannabis dispensary located at 19 Park Street, opened its doors. The facility is owned and operated by Bob Ade, who was named the Piscataquis Chamber’s 2022 Business of the Year recipient for his Pat’s Pizza franchise locations in Dover-Foxcroft and Milo. A business owner for over 35 years, Ade carries with him a commitment to excellence in his business ventures and has a reputation for benevolence derived from years of giving back to the communities he serves.

Ade, who was born and raised in Milo, is passionate about the town and wants to see it prosper. The concept for GreenLife began as early as 2016, initially envisioned as a medical dispensary and grow facility; this never materialized and was eventually shelved about a year later. Then in 2021 the vision for GreenLife came into clearer focus after several conversations with Town Manager Bob Canney, who expressed to Ade that the town’s select board was interested in the industry and bringing more options to the community. Ade didn’t have to look far to find a location, he owned the building directly across the road from the Milo, Pat’s Pizza location. Now, nearly two years later, GreenLife opened its doors.

Ade believes that though GreenLife is similar to other dispensaries in some ways, the customer will feel a difference here. “We are committed,” he explains, “to provide the best product Maine has to offer, and the best customer experience.”

The warm, friendly vibe and beautiful, inviting space are only a part of the experience, says Ade, “My office manager, Joanna and I are purposeful about educating our customers; to help them understand the pros and cons about every product they’re considering, so they purchase exactly what they need and can feel confident about their choices.”

GreenLife, partnering with some of the best and most reputable vendors in the state, offers various high-quality cannabis products. Customers will find flower, pre-rolls, cartridges, concentrates, edibles, CBD products, glass, smoking accessories, apparel, and soon-to-be CBN, Delta 8, 9, and 10 supplies. “We will continue to listen to our customers and add new brands and products as requested,” Ade said.

GreenLife hours operation are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m.to 8 p.m., closed on Sunday and Monday. Customers can stay up to date with product updates and news by following @greenlifemaine on Facebook and Instagram or by calling 207-943-9005.

There will be a grand opening celebration from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1 p.m. facilitated by the Piscataquis Chamber of Commerce. “It’s going to be a fun and memorable day,” Ade said, “there will be giveaways, door prizes, merch and gift cards, and a raffle for custom GreenLife Boston Bruins and Celtics Jerseys, and some other surprises!”
