Foxcroft girls swim at Class B championship

WATERVILLE — The Foxcroft Academy girls swim team scored 20 points to tie for 16th place at the 2023 Class B championship on Feb. 21 at Colby College. The Ponies tied Westbrook High School and the Waterville High School/Winslow High School cooperative squad for 16th place among 21 teams recording points.

Dylan Coy led Foxcroft by placing 11th in the 200-yard IM with a time of 2 minutes, 34.49 seconds. Coy also came in 15th in the 100 butterfly at 1:12.36.

Two Pony relay teams finished in 14th place. In the 200 medley relay Maddy Gaylord, Abby Kemp, Laney Reardon, and Coy combined for a time of 2:21.72. 

The four, in the same order, were 14th in the 400 freestyle relay in 4:49.61.
