Kusnierz reaches 1,000-point milestone

1,000TH CAREER POINT — Dexter Regional High School senior Will Kusnierz scored his 1,000th career point during a Jan. 13 game vs. George Stevens Academy of Blue Hill (a 67-37 Tiger victory to move the team to 9-1). Kusnierz is the third Dexter boy to reach the milestone in the 56-year history of the program. He is pictured with his parents Dan and Denise and older brother and former teammate Brett.

BASKETBALL MILESTONE — Dexter senior Will Kusnierz is pictured with his head coach Peter Murray on the night Kusnierz scored his 1,000th career point. Kusnierz entered the Jan. 13 needing 14 and he got to 1,000 points on a 3-pointer in the second quarter, part of a 37-point night to help the Tigers earn a 67-37 victory over George Stevens Academy.

PREGAME INTRODUCTION — Will Kusnierz is introduced prior to tipoff of a Jan. 13 game vs. George Stevens in which he scored his 1,000th career point. Next season the 6-foot-5 Kusnierz will be continuing his basketball career at Husson University where he plans to study nursing.
