D-F Police Department’s Hill graduates from Maine Criminal Justice Academy
VASSALBORO — On Friday, Dec. 16, 62 cadets graduated from the Basic Law Enforcement Training Program at the Maine Criminal Justice Academy in Vassalboro. The class includes Cole J. Hill from the Dover-Foxcroft Police Department.
The 18-week intensive residential training program teaches and trains cadets to deal with the rigors of the job. The class began in August with 70 cadets. 62 cadets completed the program and graduated including nine females. The 42nd BLETP represents 42 state, municipal, and county law enforcement agencies that span from Madawaska to York. These officers will help fill the growing gap in recruitment and retention issues that are plaguing the law enforcement profession in Maine and across the country. Please join us in wishing Maine’s newest law enforcement officers a safe, successful and rewarding career.
