Three PCMS teams earn Penquis League championships

GUILFORD — Piscataquis Community Middle School claimed three fall Penquis League Small School championships on Saturday, Oct. 22 on the teams’ home fields.

The Pirate boys soccer defeated Hichborn Middle School of Howland by a score of 3-1 in its Penquis League final.

PCMS earned the girls soccer title with a 2-1 defeat of Hichborn. The championship went to penalty kicks after a 1-1 tie in regulation and overtime, and the Pirates won via a 4-2 penalty kick score.

The field hockey team from PCMS hosted the Ridge View Community School of Dexter and won its Penquis League Small School title with its 1-0 victory.

The PCMS boys soccer team is made up of Finnegan Goulette, Asher Chambers, Braden Gilbert, Kolbin Thurlow, Grady Knowles, Nathan Beckwith, Conrad Rollins, Donivan Boutlier, Jacob Knowles, Tanner Tracey, Varland Gray, and Chase Lander.

The PCMS girls soccer roster is comprised of Haylee Marshall, Emma Folsom, Karmon Libera, Braylin Beckwith, Breelyn Gaw, Macie Littlefield, Madison Ball, Ella Zeller, Ava Miles, Allie Martin, Reagan Rollins. Khloe Farnham, and Shelby Grant.

Players on the PCMS field hockey team are Ally Long, Jenna Grant, Bailey Ames, Peyton Bagley, Emilynn Brown, Madison Gunter, Olivia Goodwin, Emmy Chambers, Jaylin Oullette, Kiara Moore, Ava Edes, Alivia Koscielny, Anna Folsom, Raegan Snowden, Karmyn Gould , Kiley Cupero, and Karrigan Wilson.
