White has honesty and dependability

To the Editor;

I like honesty and I like dependability. Jim White has both of these virtues. You will always know where he stands on an issue and, once he makes that stand, he doesn’t back down.

He has never wavered in his defense of the Constitution or the God-given rights of the individual. Jim makes no secret of the fact that he believes government is far too large, has trampled the rights of the citizens, and many of its institutions, such as the Departments of Education, Corrections, and Health and Human services along with the LUPC, are too big and corrupt. I couldn’t agree more.

I also like the fact that Jim has proven himself as a leader here as a county commissioner. There he has a track record of steady leadership as chair. Navigating the operational budgets of the county departments has given him the experience he needs to tackle the out of control budgets in Augusta.

We can depend on Jim White to stand up for us in Augusta. I am looking forward to voting for him for state representative. I hope you will too.
