Ridge View, SeDoMoCha cross country teams run at Inland championships

LINCOLN — The Ridge View Community School and SeDoMoCha Middle School cross country teams closed out the season at the Inland championships on Oct. 19 at Mattanawcook Academy.

The Ridge View boys scored 296 points to finish eighth among 10 full teams.

The Tigers’ Pace Jarrett covered the 1.75-mile course in a time of 13 minutes, 13.95 seconds. This was good for sixth place among a field of 108 entrants.

The rest of the Ridge View contingent was Ian Saunder, 33rd at 15:11.21; Lukas Jiang, 80th at 19:26.86; Zeke Bullock, 84th at 19:39.05; and Jonathan Rock, 93rd at 21:35.84.

Three SeDoMoCha boys ran at the Inland championship. Hunter McKusick-Slama had a time of 14:02.11 to finish 20th overall.

Eric Deitz placed 25th in 14:16.89. Matthew Baird was 97th at 23:28.35.

In the girls’ meet, SeDoMoCha scored 282 points to place seventh among seven full teams.

Elizabeth Deitz led the Eagles by finishing 33rd among 76 runners with her time of 17:10.85.

Gwen Atwater was 57th at 21:09.31; Brook Strout was 61st at 22:58.61; Prudence Bridge was 65th at 24:03.28; Hannah Healey was 66th at 24:55.08; and Natale Healey was 77th at 27:57.86.
