Skowhegan Savings promotes Bell to community banker
Skowhegan Savings is pleased to announce the promotion of Amanda Bell to community banker in the bank’s eastern, central, and northern Maine markets. Based out of the Dexter branch, Bell will assist the bank’s customers with their home buying needs.
“We’re excited to have Amanda join our community banking team, as she has extensive experience in helping our customers with their financial goals in her prior positions at the bank,” said Donna Mills Stevens, vice president of community banking. “She’s ambitious, takes pride in serving her customers and as a community banker, she will now be able to continue to further help those customers by assisting them with their home buying needs.”
Bell has over 20 years of banking experience, starting her career with the bank in 2002 as a check processing clerk. She has held various roles since, including as an item processing clerk, teller, head teller, branch supervisor, and most recently as a regional branch manager for Penobscot and Kennebec counties.
“Buying a home is a big financial decision, I look forward to making the mortgage process straight forward and as stress free as possible for our customers as I believe this financial milestone in one’s life should be a positive occasion,” said Bell. “Whether you are buying, building or renovating your home, I’m here to help you with your refinancing, home equity and home construction needs in central, eastern and northern Maine.”
Bell resides in Dexter, with her daughter, and is part owner of Piscataquis Precision Machining in Sangerville.
