Historical preservation presentation

    DEXTER — The Dexter Historical Society along with Molly Graham, oral historian and associate director of Oral History and Folklife Research Inc., will discuss preserving the stories, recollections and voices of Maine people, events and movements. Graham will give a talk on Wednesday, Aug. 6 to introduce the goals and concepts of oral history and the importance of giving voice to members of Maine communities.

    This program will be held at 6 p.m.. at the Abbott Museum on Church Street across from the Universalist Church. For more information, please call 924-7292.
    Graham is the daughter of Kathy and Kevin Graham, long-time summer residents of Dexter. She is a granddaughter of Ed Graham who together with Don Holsapple and Roger Gilbert started Camp Dexter in the 1950s.
