Graffam and Rebar continue baseball careers at Husson University

    BANGOR — Two players from the area were freshmen on the Husson University baseball team this past season.
    Dylan Graffam of Dexter, a 2013 graduate of Dexter Regional High School, was a catcher on the Eagle baseball squad. Graffam appeared in five games behind the plate and he recorded five put-outs and made six appearances at the plate.

Rebar

    Ryan Rebar of Harmony, a 2013 Foxcroft Academy graduate, appeared both on the mound and in the field for Husson. Rebar pitched in seven games with four starts, compiling a record of 3-0 with two saves and an ERA of 1.50. He tossed 24 innings, with 18 hits, 12 walks and 11 strikeouts.
    Rebar appeared in 11 games as a position player. In three at-bats he picked up two hits and an RBI.
    Husson finished the season with a record of 26-15, going 17-4 in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) play. The Eagles reached the NAC championship, falling to Castleton (Vt). State University 6-1 and 7-5 at the end of the double-elimination tourney.
