D-F Historical Society meeting June 4

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Dover-Foxcroft Historical Society will meet on Wednesday evening, June 4 at 7 in the Gerrish room at Thayer Parkway.
    Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a civilian and a woman caught in the middle of a major Civil War battle? It’s not a pretty story.

    Estella Bennett will present a program telling the story of Jenny Wade, a young lady in those circumstances.  The public is invited to come hear this sad tale.
