Keane and Ji are Foxcroft Academy’s Valedictorian and Salutatorian
DOVER-FOXCROFT — Foxcroft Academy Head of School Arnold Shorey has announced Samuel Keane as the Valedictorian and Zhaojing (Floria) Ji as the Salutatorian of the Class of 2014. Foxcroft Academy’s graduation ceremony will be held on Sunday, June 8, at 1:30 p.m. Baccalaureate will be held prior to graduation at noon. State Senate President Justin Alfond will deliver the commencement address.

Keane is the son of Gary and Terri Keane of Dover-Foxcroft. He has a GPA of 3.99, has accumulated 75 hours of community service, and is a 2014 Rose Award recipient. Keane is president of the Student Council and the senior class; captained the soccer, basketball, and tennis teams this year; and is a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club and Latin Club. He plans to study international business and marketing at Fordham University in Bronx, N.Y.

Ji is the daughter of Jianjun Ji and Fengjie Cheng of Tianjin, China. She has a GPA of 3.97, has amassed 136 hours of community service and is a 2014 Rose Award recipient. Ji is co-president of the Spanish Club, secretary of the National Honor Society and Key Club and is a member of the Student Council, Asian Culture Club and Art Club. She will be attending the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wis., where she intends to study human resources and management.
