   Over $20,000 was donated to 16 area food organizations at the Maine Highlands Federal Credit Union’s annual meeting on April 21 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Dexter.

    ENDING HUNGER LOCALLY — Over $20,000 was donated to 16 area food organizations at the Maine Highlands Federal Credit Union’s annual meeting on April 21 at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Dexter. Funds were a result of all 2013 fundraisers the credit union held for Maine Credit Unions’ Campaign For Ending Hunger. Representatives were front, from left, Joan Shapleigh (Unitarian Universalist Church of Sangerville & Dover-Foxcroft Food Cupboard), Lorraine Stutzman (Stutzman Farm SHARE Program), Kathie Lombard (Our Lady’s Kitchen), Kourtney Ray (Monson Food Cupboard), Lewis Dyer (Milo Ecumenical Food Cupboard) and Bruce Porter (Greenville Consolidated School Backpack Program). Back, Richard Wyman (Wyman Farms Senior SHARE), Al Hunt (Partnership Food Pantry of Guilford), Colin Bickford (Partnership Food Pantry of Greenville), Tom Bruce (Living Word Food Cupboard of Dover-Foxcroft), Peter Cipullo (Guilford United Methodist Church Food Cupboard), Robin Lyford (Eastern Area Agency on Aging), Karlenne Page (Corinna Food Pantry), Reggie Mossey (Dexter Community Food Pantry), Stevie Lord (Widows and Orphans Food Cupboard) and Crystal Greaves (Ridge View Community School Backpack Program).
