The course is on the background and practice of meditation for relaxation and renewal. Beginners welcome. Chairs will be used, bring a cushion or meditation bench if preferred. Please arrive early to be quietly seated and settled by 6:30 p.m. Fee $6 per session.  No one will be turned away.

BROWNVILLE: The Brownville Community Church holds Sunday School at 9 a.m., worship at 10 a.m. and then a coffee social to follow.

BROWNVILLE JUNCTION: St. John’s Episcopal Church holds services at 8:45 a.m.

DEXTER: Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, 59 Main St., hosts Sunday School at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. morning services and 1 p.m. afternoon services.

DEXTER: Our Lady’s Kitchen serves a free (donations graciously accepted) hot cooked meal at noon at the St. Anne Parish Hall, 64 Free St.

DOVER-FOXCROFT: St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church, 1213 Dexter Rd., holds 11 a.m. services with Eucharist, followed by lunch.

GUILFORD: The Guilford UMC, 3 School Street, invites the public to join in person for 10 a.m. services — masks are no longer required for people that have had the COVID-19 vaccine.The service is posted to the church Facebook page, after the service, for those who wish to stay home but still enjoy the service and music. The church again offers a coffee hour at 9:15 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall (which can be rented via 207-876-3372). Note of caution: our porch entry walkway is undergoing construction currently but access is still available.
