FLAG DONATION -- The Sarah Elizabeth Palmer Tent #23, Daughters of Union Veterans gives an American flag to a nonprofit group each year as part of their patriotic programs. This year the flag is being presented to the Monson Historical Society by Tent Patriotic Instructor Toni Snyder and member Maryann Pluff who is home on leave from the U.S. Navy. Receiving the flag on behalf of the historical society are members Buster Emanuelson and Cindy Turner.
