Plourde joins the CHCS therapy team
DOVER-FOXCROFT — Natali Plourde, LMSW-cc, graduate of the University of Maine, has been hired as a full-time mental health therapist for Community Health and Counseling Services (CHCS). She will provide services to both children and adults.
Plourde attended the University of Maine where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work in 2012. She received her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Maine in 2013.
Plourde has owned and operated a state-licensed day care facility and has been a teacher and tutor at Highview Christian Academy. In her role as a treatment foster parent, Plourde has cared for numerous children over the course of 17 years.
Plourde said, “In my work here at Community Health and Counseling, it is my desire to provide a compassionate and caring environment for those who need help realizing the potential that lies within them to enjoy and succeed, not only in therapy, but in life. When a person finds themselves tossed about in stormy weather, I want to be there to help them navigate the troubled waters and provide the tools that will help them master the sails as they go through the storm.”
