BAND SEEKS TO GROW

The HJ Crosby Community Band of Dexter is looking for new members. The band is preparing for the spring cabaret concert in April with a repertoire including big band, show tunes, ragtime, and HJ Crosby pieces “Dress Parade” and “In A Rose Garden”.

Rehearsals are every Tuesday from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Ridge View Community School music room, 175 Fern Road in Dexter. New members of all abilities and instrumentation are always welcome and instrumental loan and instruction are available. In its fourth year, the band is sponsored by a 501c(3) non-profit organization and is a member of the New Horizons International Music Association.
