Vote for Patrick Myers as Piscataquis County commissioner

This letter is written in support of Patrick Myers for Picataquis County commissioner. I highly recommend his ability to relate and communicate with others and to accomplish what needs to be done!

Over 20 years ago, my husband and I were founding members of the Center Theatre in Dover-Foxcroft. When our board’s vision turned into reality, we knew we’d need an executive director. Ideally, we wanted someone who lived in the area, was personable with strong communication skills plus had a willingness to work hard. The first person we thought of was Patrick Myers, who with his wife Theresa, had recently returned to Dover-Foxcroft.

During the interview, we were impressed with his enthusiasm for the project. He was genuinely excited and it was apparent that he.wanted to make a difference in his community; regardless of the long hours and a salary below what he deserved. Patrick was chosen as our director.

The Theatre has surpassed our dreams and its success is in large part due to hiring Patrick Myers. He has further shown his commitment to our area by being involved in the Piscataquis Regional Food Cupboard, Central Hall Commons as well as the PRYMCA. Patrick will bring his strong work ethic, managerial and communication skills plus his commitment as county commissioner. He can accomplish what needs to be done just as he has done with the Center Theatre. Please vote for Patrick Myers.
