Several Business 101 classes announced for the month of February

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — MaineStream Finance will be offering Business 101 on the Web or live in Bangor, Dover-Foxcroft or Lincoln during the month of February.
    Business 101 consists of “Thinking Of Starting A Business?” a free, one-hour workshop. It provides an overview of the pros and cons of operating a micro-enterprise. What is a business plan? Why it is needed and resources for business development assistance.

    Other topics covered include: Being An Entrepreneur, Business Success, Professionalism, Business Plan, Networking, Resources, Budgeting & Planning, Credit and a Review of Upcoming Classes and Workshops. Business Plan, Marketing, Credit, Record Keeping, Financials and Cash Flow.
    Business 101 will be streamed on the Web on Tuesday, Feb. 4 at 10 a.m. and Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m.
    Live classes will take place on Monday, Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. at Penquis in Bangor; Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 6 p.m. at Penquis in Dover-Foxcroft; and at a Lincoln location to be announced later.
    These workshops are free, but pre-registration is requested. For those taking a webinar. please register 24 hours in advance so the materials can be emailed to you.  To register, please go to www.MaineStreamFinance.org and click on “Form” located in the upper right hand corner and then on “Classes and Workshops”.
