“Rachael is simply one of our best and brightest,” Bell said. “She has been a consistent top performer in many areas during her time at Dexter Regional High School. Academically, she has been at the top of her class, but she is also one of the most involved students that I have had the privilege of working with. She serves as Student Council president as well as other leadership and volunteer positions. Rachael has also been fortunate to travel internationally during her time at DRHS spending time in Suzhou, China studying at our partner school, as well as, traveling to Botswana, Africa as part of the CIEE program. She is a great student, but also a great person as a whole, putting as much effort in her many volunteer roles as she does her studies. She is very deserving of this recognition.”

The Principal’s Award is presented in more than 100 Maine public and private high schools by member principals of the MPA, the professional association which represents Maine’s school administrators.
