Almy concludes Ursinus X-C career
COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. — Charleston resident and Foxcroft Academy graduate Amos Almy was a member of the cross country team at Ursinus College in the fall.
At the Centennial Conference Championship in Haverford, Pa. Almy covered the 8,000-meter (approximate five mile) course in 29 minutes, 46.7 seconds to finish fourth among Ursinus runners and 84th overall as the Bears concluded in ninth place.
At the NCAA Div. III Mideast Regionals in Newville, Pa. Ursinus came in 42nd, with Almy having the Bears’ third fastest time of the day at 29:27.4.
Almy is majoring in environmental science at Ursinus.
