Pair of Pony relays swim at state championship
BRUNSWICK — Two Foxcroft Academy relay teams competed in the 2020 Class B Swimming and Diving Championship on Monday, Feb. 17 at Bowdoin College.
Both the 200-yard medley and 200 freestyle relays came in 16th. In the 200 medley relay Amy Waugh, Olivia McCorrison, Laney Reardon and Hannah Vail combined for a time of 2 minutes, 26.33 seconds.
The four made up the 200 free relay with Vail, Reardon, Waugh and McCorrison swimming the event together in 2:09.82.
Foxcroft scored four points to finish 18th among 18 schools picking up points at the state championship.
Mount Desert Island came in first place with a score of 379 points, followed by 333 for Greely High School of Cumberland and 288 for third-place Cape Elizabeth High School.
