Center Theatre raffling lifetime popcorn supply

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Center Theatre for the Performing Arts announced that for the first time in facility history it is raffling off a lifetime supply of popcorn. Tickets are only $10 per person and can be purchased at the Theatre or from a member of the Center Theatre board of directors.

“Last year we raffled off a lifetime movie pass,” said  Patrick Myers, the Center Theatre’s executive director, “so for a change this year our Fundraising committee suggested raffling off a lifetime supply of popcorn.” Myers said the tickets are only $10 per person and only 250 tickets will be sold. The lucky winner of the raffle will receive a special popcorn tub that they can bring to the Theatre whenever they come to see a movie or a show and get it filled for free.

ALL THE POPCORN YOU CAN EAT — For $10 you can have a chance to win this special popcorn tub entitling you to a lifetime supply of free popcorn at the Center Theatre for the Performing Arts in Dover-Foxcroft.

“The winner has to be the one to bring the special tub,” Myers said, “and if they use it so much it breaks or wears out, we will supply them with a new one.”

The raffle drawing will be held at noon on Sunday, March 1. Proceeds from the raffle will support the Center Theatre’s mission of making arts, education and entertainment accessible for our rural communities to engage and inspire. The Center Theatre is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
