Highlands Classical Chamber Ensemble to perform in Greenville

GREENVILLE — The public is cordially invited to a concert of classical music performed by The Highlands Classical Chamber Ensemble at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 23 in the Greenville High School auditorium, located at 130 Pritham Avenue. Solos, duos and ensemble works for violin, cello, piano, saxophone, flute and bassoon, will be presented, including works by Haydn, Brahms, Kodaly, Gershwin and Kalliwoda.

 

Admission is by donation. Other concerts on the 2020 tour include venues in Orono, Dover-Foxcroft, Sangerville and Belfast. For more information, please call 207-564-0043.

The mission of The Highlands Classical Chamber Ensemble is to promote live classical music in the communities of Maine. The ensemble of professional musicians has been performing for eight years in local communities, from Bangor to Milo and Greenville to Belfast, to the enthusiastic acclaim of audiences.
