Foxcroft Academy indoor track starts the season
ORONO — The Foxcroft Academy boys indoor track and field team opened the 2019-20 Penobscot Valley Conference/Eastern Maine Indoor Track League season on Dec. 21 at the University of Maine, scoring three points to finish seventh among eight schools.
Pony senior Hunter Clarke came in fifth in the 200 with a time of 25.50 seconds. Sophomore Jasper Makowski added a point with his sixth-place performance in the 400 at 64.44 seconds.
Clarke was also 10th in the 55-meter prelims at 7.37 seconds for he and his team’s other top 10 finish on Saturday.
In the girls meet, PCHS freshman came in eighth in the 55-meter prelims at 8.26 seconds.
