Need help providing for Christmas?

To the Editor;
To parents and friends of our area’s children: If your family lives in one of the towns served by RSU 68 (Charleston, Dover-Foxcroft, Monson and Sebec) and your family needs assistance in providing warm winter clothing and a gift for each of your children (ages infant to 17 years old), the Kiwanis Club of Dover-Foxcroft may be able to help.

Complete an application through the Facebook page: Df Kiwanis. Click on the Christmas Project link that will be available through Nov. 23 or you can pick up an application at one of the school offices, the Piscataquis Chamber of Commerce office at South Street or the Dover-Foxcroft Congregational Church office. Just fill it out and mail it to the address on that letterhead. But remember, you must have submitted the application by the deadline, Nov. 23.

Or if you or your organization want to help – become an “adopter.” Call or email our project chairs: Pat Hinkley at 659-9901 or pat.hinkley@mainestream.us or Rita Page at 717-4705 or rpage5833@gmail.com.

For over 80 years, the Kiwanis Club of Dover-Foxcroft has been proud to sponsor a variety of programs for the benefit of children in our community. We Kiwanians especially enjoy the opportunity to organize and work together with area churches, charitable organizations, businesses, generous individuals and groups of individuals to make a difference in the life of a child at this special time of year.

Pat Hinkley,
Kiwanis Club of Dover-Foxcroft
president
