Parkman Grange needs to replace its well

PARKMAN — The Parkman Grange needs the community’s help. The Grange well has run dry and a new one must be drilled immediately in order to carry on scheduled and planned activities, such as the upcoming Smoke Off (Sept. 14) and the annual Military Appreciation Supper (Oct. 19). Also impacted are planned Halloween and Christmas activities for community kids, as well as various community activities which rent and use the Grange facilities.

The Grange has a great history of community service and support which it wants to continue. A Grange Well Fund has been established. Donations would be greatly appreciated and may be made at KC’s Country Store or the Parkman Town Office. You can also mail a check, noting “Well Fund” on the memo line, to Parkman Grange, P.O. Box 114, Guilford ME 04443. Sue Manchester, the Parkman Grange master, can provide additional information at 277-3942. Please consider helping the Grange through this unforeseen disruption by making a donation today.
