Sebec Village summer library schedule and quilt raffle

SEBEC — The Sebec Village Associates will be operating the community library at the Reading Room, 665 Sebec Village Road, again this summer. There are no fees to borrow books and media from the library which boasts an extensive collection of fiction and nonfiction.

Summer hours will begin on Tuesday, July 9 and are as follows: Tuesdays 10 a.m. to noon; Wednesdays 6–7:30 p.m.; and Thursdays 1–3 p.m. These hours will be throughout July and August.

Susan Small has generously created and donated a lovely 60- by 82-inch quilt which is being raffled as a fundraiser to buy additional books. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the Reading Room during any event, such as July 4 or whenever the library is open.
