Quilting class offered at The Commons at Central Hall

DOVER-FOXCROFT – Ever wanted to learn quilting, or to pursue the hobby with other quilters? A six-week quilting class will be offered at The Commons at Central Hall from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. beginning on Monday, June 3. During the class, which is geared toward beginners, participants will learn how to cut fabric to piece together, bind and create a quilt.

Students must bring their own sewing machines and know how to use them. The pattern for the lap-size quilt, and a list of supplies, will be provided upon registration. The class fee is $35.

Quilters are also invited to attend a weekly quilting group which meets at The Commons from 1 to 3 p.m. each Tuesday. This is not a class, but rather a group of people who enjoy sharing their knowledge and socializing with other quilters.

For more information, email info@centralhallcommons.org or call 343-3018. The Commons at Central Hall is located at 152 East Main Street.
