On Saturday, May 18 the Foxcroft boys placed fifth of six teams at Old Town High School with a score of 57 points.

Senior Chandler Dow had the top time of the meet in the 300 hurdles at 46.77 seconds. He also finished second in the 110 hurdles at 18.54 seconds.

Senior Hyatt Smith came in second in both the high jump and triple jump at a height of 5 feet, 6 inches and at a distance of 41-02.75.

Also coming in second was Foxcroft’s 4×100 relay. Senior Cody Tetlow, junior Hunter Clarke, freshman Jesse Drury and senior Dustin Simmons combined to cover the lap around the track in 47.94 seconds. The Pony 4×400 relay — senior Noah Contreras, junior Jacob Raynes, freshman Bodie Clarke and Corey Merrill — finished third at 4:14.82.

Simmons added a fourth-place performance in the 100 at 12.24 seconds, and sixth in the event was Tetlow at 12.29.

Senior Nicolas Daneman finished fifth in the 3,200 at 13:14.66. Three other Ponies had sixth-place finishes — Raynes in the 1,600 at 5:27.96, Contreras in the 800 at 2:21.84 and Hunter Clarke in the 200 at 24.94 seconds.

In the girls’ meet, Greenville High School scored 10 points to place fifth among a field of seven teams.

Laker sophomore Jessica Cobb came in second in the 300 hurdles with a time of 59.75 seconds. Junior Abby McDonough was fifth in the high jump at 4-04.

The girls from Foxcroft were seventh with a score of six points.

Pony sophomore Sabrina Hamele came in fifth in the 1,600 racewalk at 11:19.04, and junior Grace McLaughlin’s throw of 77-03 put her fifth in the discus.

Senior Sarasofia Stentardo finished sixth in the 100 at 14.46 seconds. Classmate Chloe Wyman was sixth in the 400 at 1:25.82.
