Artful grief workshop June 1

DOVER-FOXCROFT — Sometimes words cannot adequately express one’s grief. Some bereaved individuals would rather not talk about their losses. Allowing grief to express itself through creative processes can be very helpful and fulfilling; it doesn’t require one to talk and share their grief verbally in a group.

Pine Tree Hospice invites you to explore an alternative to “talking through grief” in this free 2.5-hour workshop facilitated by trained volunteers. No artistic skills are required. Participants will have an opportunity to express and process their grief experience through an artful activity. This artful grief workshop is open to adults in the community who are grieving the death of a loved one, whether recently or in the past.

The workshop is being held on Saturday, June 1 from 9-11:30 a.m. in Dover-Foxcroft. Space is limited. Please pre-register by calling Pine Tree Hospice at 564-4346 by May 29.
