Move to Massachusetts?

To the Editor;
So Matthew Gagnon doesn’t want to live in Massachusetts or New Hampshire, he just wants to be taxed like he was. We’ll ignore that Maine has many times the land area and a fraction of the other states’ population density. We’ll ignore that the state has had eight years of Republican tax cutting policies, which has not achieved their mystical economic results.

Maybe we just haven’t cut our school budgets enough, or cut our health care to our rural communities enough. Maybe our roads are paved too often or maybe if we cut the wages of the low-income earners, or discourage more immigrants, that will attract new business. Elder care is certainly overrated as is job training and higher education. There is a lot of money to be saved and just think how attractive the results would make our state for our children and how it would attract new businesses and employees to our state.

How low does Gagnon suggest we go before the state is attractive to him? I think Sen. Cathy Breen gave him good advice.
