Audiologist Chris Clukey of Dover Audiology and Hearing Aid Sales on West Main Street in Dover-Foxcroft was recently presented with a Hearing is Our Concern 2012 Director’s Award, for going above and beyond to help the hearing impaired in the community, during an industry technology convention last month in Minneapolis. Clukey said he was excited to be one of the recipients from across the country receiving the unexpected award, voted on by others in the industry and presented by hearing aid company Starkey. Clukey said he likely received the award based on Dover Audiology and Hearing Aid Sales patient reviews and his involvement in various hearing programs, such as with the Maine Center on Deafness.
