Robshaw completes perfect regular season in the 55-meter dash

ORONO — For the seventh time in as many meets Penquis Valley High School senior Cymeria Robshaw won the 55-meter dash during the final regular season Penobscot Valley Conference/Eastern Maine Indoor Track League competition at the University of Maine.

Robshaw most recent first-place performance came on Feb. 2 as she ran the 55 dash in a time of 7.46 seconds during the event finals to best Brewer High School sophomore Abby Stroup’s time of 8.03 seconds. In the 55-prelims Robshaw’s 7.31 seconds tied her own New Balance Fieldhouse record set on Jan. 18.

On Saturday Robshaw also had the top distance in the triple jump. Robshaw jumped 35 feet, 0.5 inches to place ahead of the distance of 34-05.5 for Brewer sophomore Morgan Honey.

Robshaw came in second in the long jump with a leap of 16-10.25. She only trailed the distance of 17-07.50 for Orono High School senior Camille Kohtala.

Robshaw scored all 28 points for Penquis as the team ended the day fifth of nine schools.
