Pair of Greenville grads run at Husson
BANGOR — Two Greenville High School alums were members of the Husson University women’s cross country team in the fall.
Murray
At the North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championship at New England College in Henniker, N.H. Husson freshman Sierra Murray placed 44th out of 78 runners with a time of 23 minutes, 40 seconds on the five kilometer course. Junior McKenna Peat finished 63rd with a time of 25:45 as the Eagles won the NAC crown for the second year in a row. Husson finished with 38 points for the lowest score of 10 schools.
Peat
Murray and Peat are both residents of Greenville. Murray is majoring in nursing at Husson. The daughter of Richard and Karen Peat, Peat is a physical therapy major.
