PCHS’ Wilson and Dexter’s Weeks both earn 100th career victories

GUILFORD — Two local wrestlers achieved a significant accomplishment Dec. 19 at Piscataquis Community High School. Zachary Wilson of PCHS and Caleb Weeks of Dexter Regional High School both earned their 100th career wins at the dual meet. Weeks and Wilson are seniors this year and defending Class B state champions, Weeks in the 120-pound weight class and Wilson at 170 pounds.

Wilson and Weeks both went into the meet with 98 wins, needing two to reach the milestone. Weeks, currently wrestling in the 132-pound class, posted victories against PCHS and Ellsworth to earn his 100 wins while Wilson, wrestling at 182 pounds, defeated wrestlers from Dexter and Ellsworth to reach his 100th win for the Pirates.

Congratulations to both wrestlers on their outstanding achievement and good luck with the rest of the season.
