You won’t be sorry with Mackey Andrews as state senator

To the Editor;
Piscataquis County has become the poorest county in the state. The median household income is about $37,000, while the state average is about $48,000. The poverty rate is over 19 percent. One of the biggest concerns is the lack of healthcare coverage, and the high cost of insurance. There are also people who want to retire, but must continue to work for the company insurance. I know people who don’t go to the doctor for simple illnesses, when a prescription is all they need. They can’t afford it.

It’s time for a change in leadership. I’ve walked with Sue Mackey Andrews as she’s knocked on doors in Brownville. She listens to people’s concerns because she cares and wants to help. Sue will work tirelessly for us as she’s always done. Please give her a chance to become our next state senator. You won’t be sorry.
