GUILFORD — The Guilford Memorial Library’s children’s summer programming will begin at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11 with “Fiddlin Around the Library.” The children’s programming will continue each Wednesday throughout July and into the first day of August. Upcoming programs are July 18 “Rocks, Rocks, Rocks,” July 25 “Fossils” and the programming will end with “Catch the Beat” on Wednesday Aug. 1.

The library will be hosting “Identity Theft” at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 17. Representatives from the Maine Highlands Federal Credit Union and the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Office will be discussing identity theft and giving information on ways to avoid being a victim.

The Guilford Memorial Library will be having its annual book sale from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 28. Books will be sold by donation.
