Milo couple faces drug charges
YORK — Maine State Police have charged a couple from Milo after seizing heroin and crack when their vehicle was stopped on the Maine Turnpike late in the evening on June 14, according to a press release on the incident. The enforcement action came after troopers stopped the couple’s car in York about 11 p.m. and a drug dog was brought to the scene.
As a result, 12 grams of crack cocaine and 12 grams of heroin was located. Maureen Clark, 43, of Milo was charged with two counts of unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs. Edwin Marrero, 52, of Milo was charged with unlawful possession of scheduled drugs as he was in possession of suboxone without a prescription.
Both Clark and Marrero were summonsed and released from the scene. They are scheduled to appear in a York County courtroom at a future date.
