Track and field results

The Dexter Regional High School girls track team placed third in a field of five schools with a score of 33 points during an April 26 meet at Ellsworth High School.

Tiger senior Rebecca Batron won the javelin with a throw of 75 feet, 5 inches. Batron also came in second in the shot put at 27-09.50.

Junior Danielle Cummings placed second in both the high and long jumps by clearing the bar at 4-04 and landing at a distance of 14-03.25. She was also third in the 100 in 13.97 seconds. Classmate Autumn Irwin was fifth in the 100 at 14.70 seconds.

Dexter’s 4×100 relay team finished in fifth place. Freshman Jieun Lee, sophomore Kiyana Jerome, freshman Hannah Campbell and sophomore Erin Bache combined for a time of 64.71 seconds.

The boys from Dexter were also third in a field of five schools, scoring 40 points.

Sophomore Cameron Paige won both the 100 and 200 in respective times of 12.06 and 24.67 seconds. Paige added fourth-place finishes in the high and long jumps at 5-00 and 17-01.50.

Junior David Kirshkaln came in second in the shot put at 36-06.50 and he was also fourth in the discus with a heave of 88-05.

Junior Chris Roderka placed second in the 3,200 in a time of 11:20.20. Junior Dillion Allen finished third in the long jump at 18-01.50 and junior Ethan Boutilier was fourth in the 800 in 2:29.74.

On April 28 the Foxcroft Academy boys ended the day in fourth place among 10 schools on the team’s home track, scoring 41 points.

Junior Hyatt Smith finished first in the high jump at a height of 5-10. He also came in second in the triple jump with a leap of 39-00.75 and his distance of 18-10 was good for third place in the long jump.

Daniel Rihtnesberg had the top throw of the meet in the javelin at 146-11. He also came in sixth in the shot put at 36-01.25.

Freshman Logan Martin was fifth in the long jump at 17-11, and the Ponies had three sixth-place finishes. Placing sixth was the 4×100 relay squad (comprised of sophomore Hunter Clarke, Martin, junior Dustin Simmons and freshman Izaak Krasue) in 50.45 seconds; freshman Khrystofor Downing in the 300 hurdles at 51.30 seconds; and senior Jonathan Labree in the javelin at a distance of 116-0.

At Dover-Foxcroft the Greenville High School boys placed sixth among the 10 teams with 26 points.

Senior Devin Boone’s throw of 44-04.75 was good for second place in the shot put. He also came in third in the discus at 126-10.

Senior Anthony Mason finished third in the 800 at 2:13.28 and fifth in the 1,600 at 5:08.93.

Sophomore Noah Bilodeau tied for fifth in the high jump at a height of 5-00 and he tied for sixth in the 3,200 in 11:59.61.

Sophomore Jack Morehouse came in sixth in the 200 in 25.93 seconds, and senior Noah Pratt was sixth in the 1,600 with a time of 5:20.83.
