Progress in Sangerville

To the Editor;

The year 2017 was a positive year for the town. Town meeting we elected a new selectman. That I feel gave us three good common sense people. All three selectmen had no experience as selectmen but I feel they are doing a good job.

Mid-year the board hired a new town manager, which helped them a lot.

The Frenchs Mills Road paving was finished. The Silvers Mills Road was prepared for paving. The citizens volunteered equipment and labor to build a ball field. A lot of money and material was donated for the project. I would like to thank everyone involved in the field.

This is a good example of what can be accomplished when people come together in a positive way.

I feel that the town is moving in a positive direction. Mike Wark is running again and I plan on backing him. If we keep the same people we have and praise them instead of criticizing them we will continue in a positive direction.

Yes they have made mistakes, we all do. I have been able to talk to all four of them when I had concerns. They are working for the benefit of all the people of the town.

It takes as much energy to be negative, if not more than it does to be positive.
