Road race results
On June 23 Douglas Rhoda of Dover-Foxcroft ran in the inaugural Bay of Fundy International Marathon, with the course including Lubec and Canada. Rhoda, who was running in the men’s 40-49 age bracket, finished 401st out of nearly 450 in a time of 5 hours, 56 minutes and 29 seconds on the 26.2-mile route.
In the 38th annual Tour du Luc 10 Miler June 29 in Bucksport Chris Almy, 64 of Charleston, placed 55th out of a field of 83. Almy covered the 10 miles in 1:26.45.
