Throw-away society

To the Editor;
I see so much litter along the roadsides. The most noticeable are drink cups (coffee, soda …). Perhaps cars and trucks need to have better, built-in trash receptacles.

We live in a culture where eating and drinking while on the road is very popular. Perhaps fast food establishments could remind their customers more not to litter when there’s take-out and at the drive-thru windows!
