Smith to compete at AAU Nationals

    DOVER-FOXCROFT — Foxcroft Academy freshman Hunter Smith will compete at the AAU Basketball National Championships in Orlando, Fla. this summer.

    Smith and his AAU team, comprised of other 15-year-olds from around the state, recently qualified for nationals by winning the 15U division state championship at the University of Southern Maine earlier this month. As part of the Maine Athletic Club, the players will compete at Disney’s Wide World of Sports complex from July 10-16.
