Gilbert and Foley honored by BDN for their play on the court

BDN ALL-MAINE HONOREES — Piscataquis Community High School junior Bryce Gilbert and Greenville High School junior Nick Foley were both recognized by the Bangor Daily News by receiving honorable mention recognition on the 62nd BDN All-Maine Schoolboy Basketball Team. Gilbert and Foley were two of 45 honorable mention players representing all five of the state’s basketball classes and part of 60 total athletes named to the 2017 BDN All-Maine Schoolboy Basketball Team. Gilbert helped the Pirates reach the Class C North quarterfinals and Foley and his teammates won the Class D South championship.
