Sangerville library receives grant to fund children’s books

SANGERVILLE — The Sangerville Public Library has received a $500 grant from the Rose and Samuel Rudman Library Trust of the Maine Community Foundation. The grant money has been used to buy children’s books by Maine authors and illustrators.

The summer reading program at the library “The Story Hour”, will be held every Thursday from 2-3 p.m. beginning July 6 and ending Aug. 17. The program will be a story hour where only books by Maine authors and illustrators will be read aloud to the children. Ages 5-8 will attend from 2-2:30 p.m., and ages 9-12 will attend from 2:30-3 p.m.
