Foxcroft Youth Wrestling Tournament results

DOVER-FOXCROFT — The Foxcroft Youth Wrestling team held its annual Youth Wrestling Tournament at Foxcroft Academy on Saturday. Over 300 young grapplers from pre-kindergarten to grade 8 were registered to wrestle at this tourney, which has grown through the years as teams from all over Maine came to town in 2017 to compete.
Teams in attendance this year were Bangor, Bath, Bonny Eagle, Calais, Calvary Chapel, Camden Hills, Dexter, Ellsworth, Dover-Foxcroft, Guilford, Hermon, Howland, Lebanon, Lincoln, Madison, Pittsfield, Richmond and Skowhegan.
Congratulations to the Foxcroft Youth and SeDoMoCha Middle School wrestlers that placed. Younger squad weight class winners were Carter Nichols, Owen Weymouth, Kaleb Weymouth, Tanyon Gibbs and Cody Bagley.
Those finishing as runners-up were Alec Reier, Karter Rideout, Keegan Crowell, Alex Hanson, Kell Cooley, Jacobi Poire, Shane Bowden, Aidan Bryant and Isaac Pearl.
Third-place Foxcroft Youth wrestlers were Jordan Brooks, Wyett Parker, Grayden Nuite, Keyanna Kerr, Balack Ade, Nikolas Heretakis, Lucien Pearl, Kaleb Worthing, Eugene Gould, Jack Goldsmith, Kain Niland, Hayden Hanson, John Bunn, Parker Weymouth and Colby Gilbert.
Coming in fourth place was William Stone, TJ Allen, Jaiden Ward, Angel Gagnon, Landon Ladd and Sadie Farmer
For SeDoMoCha five wrestlers recorded first-place performances, Gage Beaudry, Noah Cavanagh, AJ Atkinson, Xander Doty and Garrett Cooley
Coming in second was Philip Bagley, Carter Blanchard, Sam Robinson and Garret Chase.
Austin Jackson was third in his division.
Fourth-place Eagles were Craig Farmer, Skylar Gibbs and Austin Gil.
