Seniors on stage

SENIORS GET IN THE ACT — From left, Sherman Cookson, Joni Slamm, Patrick Myers, Jayne Sharrow and Gary Dorman participated in the Seniors On-Stage program presented recently at Dexter’s Abbott Memorial Library. Directors Myers of the Center Theatre in Dover-Foxcroft and Dorman of Corinna’s Levi Stewart Community Theater, spoke about the theatrical experiences available to seniors in their respective organizations as well as the observed benefits of participation. Actors Cookson, Slamm and Sharrow shared how theater participation has impacted their lives and enhanced their physical, mental and emotional health. The actors performed skits and songs for the attendees.
