Omicron Chapter of DKG Society International meeting

WOMEN EDUCATOR GROUP MEETING — The Omicron Chapter of DKG Society International, a group for women educators, met Feb. 1 at the SeDoMoCha School in Dover-Foxcroft. The guest speaker was Emily Poland RN, school nurse Consultant for the Maine Department of Education. Poland spoke about Project AWARE – Advancing Wellness and Resilience in Education which is funded through a grant from Substance and Mental Health Services Administration and is a collaboration of the Maine Department of Education and the Maine Department of Health and Human Services. This project will help schools to address the growing behavioral and mental health challenges facing Maine students and schools.
